Friendly Dental Group Named Number One Dentist in Charlotte, North Carolina – Press Release

The American Dental Association recently announced the Friendly Dental Group of Charlotte as the #1 dentist in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Charlotte, NC – October 13, 2020 – The Friendly Dental Group in Charlotte, North Carolina is proud to be named the number one dental practice in Charlotte, North Carolina by the American Dental Association. This prestigious award was given to the Friendly Dental Group in Charlotte after it was judged superior to tens of dental practices in Charlotte.

The American Dental Association (ADA) is a 163,000+ member association that exists to power the profession of dentistry. Formed over 160 years ago, they promote the art and science of dentistry by supporting dental professionals through services like Find-a-Dentist, Third-Party Payer Concierge, credentialing tools, contract review, and much more. Their mission is to ensure all member dentists have what they need when they need it and even before it is needed to help them succeed.

The American Dental Association uses a meticulous process to determine the most outstanding dental practice in each town and state. Throughout the year, respected dental practice is nominated by people of the community. Each candidate’s qualifications are then reviewed and verified. Finally, the association takes an in-depth look at the dentist’s education, experience, staff strength, environment, board certification, professional associations, and awards. They also conduct various surveys and voting to determine the overall position. After these processes, the winner will now be chosen.

After many surveys and voting in 2019 and 2020, the Friendly Dental Group was chosen as the number one dentist in Charlotte. The American Dental Association recognized the practice for its excellence in dentistry based on its outstanding aesthetic results and clinical excellence; advanced technologies; complete patient care and treatment; superior physical environment; commitment and leadership; and excellent management of the practice.

“We are honored to be named the number one dental practice in Charlotte, as it confirms our practice philosophy of delivering the best dentistry possible to our patients. A true dedication to excellence runs through every staff member of our office,” Dr. Ronald Cohen said.

Seattle’s Best Group Fitness Classes

Most boutique fitness studios in Seattle focus on a single format with specific methodologies from which instructors cannot diverge. Community Fitness not only offers more formats than any other group exercise studio in Seattle, each seasoned instructor has a unique methodology which makes for an incredibly diverse schedule of classes and programs.

The very best group exercise instructors are natural-born artists who teach as a way of life, as a form of creative self-expression. Their artistry inspires us to express our own creative energy. Most great fitness trainers also exhibit an intriguing combination of both divine masculine and divine feminine qualities, irrespective of their gender. Often referred to as Yin and Yang, an instructor who has both can be a confident leader as well as a compassionate friend.

It’s the instructors themselves that bring the group fitness experience to life. What good is a revolutionary group exercise class if you don’t like the person teaching it? Fitness trends come and go, as does our ability to stay motivated. But relationships with friends, workout buddies and inspirational trainers can keep us accountable and last a lifetime. Which is why our continuing mission is to assemble the most talented and popular fitness instructors from across the city, under one roof.

Our gym is centrally located in Seattle between Greenlake and the University of Washington, two blocks from the Roosevelt neighborhood Whole Foods. While we choose to exercise indoors, we honor our Northwest heritage with decor that embraces natural outdoor elements of wood, metal, stone and natural sunlight.

All three studios have sprung floors to reduce joint impact and acoustical ceilings that allow instructor voices to be clearly heard even when music is playing. Each room has state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems for ambience, and our two largest studios have projectors on either side of an elevated instructor stage, displaying the instructor’s image to improve participant sight lines.

We strive to create a respectful space within our classrooms, where clients can focus on doing what makes them healthy and happy. We define success not by how much revenue our business produces, but by how much revenue we are able to reinvest in our employees, our facility, and our client services.

Building community, where we can work, play, and improve our lives in the great city of Seattle – that’s our mission. We are a relationship based business, not only between instructors and participants, but also co-worker to co-worker and client to client.

“Life is an ensemble performance. No one can do it alone.” ~ Matt Kahn

We need to work together if we plan to succeed and thrive individually and collectively. Everyone is doing the best they can, and we all deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect. It’s time for the qualities of the divine feminine to be brought into equal balance alongside the divine masculine. In honor of goodness, unity and equality, let’s not focus on what divides us, but what we have in

Ten Fitness Challenges to Motivate Your Group

Here are ten fitness challenges to motivate your group over the biggest hurdle most people encounter when trying to stay on the healthy nutrition and exercise path. Staying motivated. Having a group of friends to keep each other accountable is a great idea. Furthermore, it’s even easier to do now that we can stay connected via e-mail, Facebook etc. If you like these ideas, you may also want to check out The Big Book of 30 Day Challenges.

Ten Fitness Challenges to Motivate Your Group

Weight loss/food challenges to motivate your group

1. Seven day water challenge: For 7 days, drink your height in water. For example, I’m 64 inches tall so I would drink 64 oz. of water each day. If you don’t drink much water right now, work yourself up by drinking 8 ounces more each week leading up to the challenge.

2. Seven day low sugar challenge: Women should limit added sugar to 24 grams per day. Men should limit added sugar to 36 grams per day. Check the nutrition facts label for sugar. It you are eating fresh fruits and veggies, those are natural sugar. Also, some dairy products also contain natural sugar. You don’t have to count it! Yay.

3. Share one healthy recipe each week: Challenge members to submit a healthy recipe they have tried. The group can vote for their favorite. A secret Facebook group works great for something like this. You could even plan an event where everyone brings a healthy dish with recipes to distribute to group members.

4.Thirty day weight loss percentage challenge. Keep track of the amount of weight you lose for thirty days. The person who loses the highest percentage of his/her body weight is the winner. This is a more fair way to do a weight loss challenge as some members may have more weight to  lose than others.

5. Seven day NO (pick two junk foods, like soda and chips) challenge.  Group members check in each day to talk about how they are doing and the benefits they are experiencing. A group atmosphere promotes motivating each other and cheering each other’s accomplishments.

6. Thirty day points challenge: Use a 1 pt. multiplier for light exercise, 1.5 pt. multiplier for moderate exercise and a 2 pt multiplier for intense exercise. Multiply the time you exercise by the intensity multiplier. Keep track of your points each day. The person with the most points at the end of 30 days is the winner. You can compete individually or in teams of varying sizes. This seems to be the most popular of the “Ten Fitness Challenges to Motivate Your Group”.
